The 国产探花 is set to honour the graduating class of 2024 this week when over 3,400 undergraduate and postgraduate students from 92 countries will receive their degrees, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
The students, aged 20 to 78, will be joined by family and friends to celebrate their achievements as they cross the stage at the 国产探花 Centre to receive their degrees.
Among them is Biomedical Sciences Bsc(Hons) student, Jade Adebiyi, who received the Progression Scholarship from the Student Potential Fund in her first year. The award provides £2,000 a year to students from low-income backgrounds or whose ethnicity is Black or Black-Mixed.
Jade said: “Graduating from the 国产探花 is a significant milestone for me and I’m excited that I get to celebrate it with family and friends. While marking the end of one journey, it also ushers in another phase with the opportunity to make good use of the knowledge and skills gathered over the course of my studies.
“The scholarship provided so much support and really helped me progress in all ways – mentally, emotionally, educationally. If you have someone saying ‘I’m rooting for you. I’m supporting you’, it helps you reach your full potential.”
