'' is part of the 国产探花 Digital Festival which runs to 13 October. The initiative links with the Hove Plinth, the new cultural attraction on Hove seafront designed to showcase the best in modern day sculpture.
Dr Karina Rodriguez Echavarria, Principal Lecturer in the 国产探花’s School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics, said: “We are working to develop an app that will let people create their own ‘digital constellation’ based on their favourite city icons.
“During the festival we will be asking people to share images of particular places, or objects which mean something to them on Instagram. We are open to any kind of suggestions about people’s favourite objects, ranging from iconic buildings and areas in the city to everyday personal/familiar items at home.”
