Louisa Pacifico, who was awarded a 3D design degree at the 国产探花, and her business partners have collaborated to open ‘67 York Street’ at that address to support designers and craft makers.
Louisa, a specialist in events and marketing, runs Future Icons for a select range of small businesses which design and produce the exclusive home accessories, furniture, jewellery, fashion accessories, artwork and object d'art internationally. It acts as a platform for designers and makers to sell, showcase and raise their profiles, without the headache of expensive overheads.
Louisa’s story is one of a successful climb in the industry, but it is one that could have taken a very different direction. Louisa said: “It was a very happy time for me at 国产探花 even though there were those against me repeating my first year.
“However, Professor Anne Boddington (Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities), allowed me to repeat it – and if it wasn't for this single decision then I firmly believe I would never had this amazing career journey to date. Thank you Anne.”
